FORM ANALYSIS STUDIES
Visual Aesthetics: Form + Space1. Inherent Forces + the Cube
Objective was to create a cube out of 6 unique faces that integrated seamlessly into each other. When developing each face, inherent forces of the square were the main focus as well as planning out the relationships of adjacent sides.

2. Inherent Forces + Number as Letterform
Objective was to apply inherent forces of the square with point, line, and shape as letterforms, specifically manipulating the numbers 2, 3, 5, 8 from a segment of the Fibonacci sequence. Composition contains graphic elements utilizing positive + negative space and figure/ground reversal.

3. Inherent Forces + Logical Divisions Within a Rectangle
Objective was to compose a study of the inherent + dynamic forces of a root 2 rectangle using point, line, shape, and a 1/2 inch grid structure.

4. Narrative - Graphic Elements + Image + Type
Objective was to display my path from home to the studio classroom by creating a visual sequential narrative. Used imagery found along the way in addition to graphic elements + type. Framework is a proportional system derived from the Fibonacci sequence.
